The Desert Shore Silk Scarf is handmade in Macclesfield, UK, the historic hub of silk printing. The Alighieri new heritage design is printed on 100% silk, and completed with a hand-rolled hem.

Alighieri’s silk scarf collection is digitally printed in the U.K in line with our ethos and commitment to responsible and sustainable practice. Local manufacturing is fundamental in keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible. The artisans in Macclesfield digitally print the silk - which is one of today’s most eco-friendly method of printing, involving no ink waste. The inks are OEKO -TEX certified. The silk is steamed, washed and softened post-printing using a closed loop water system. Each scarf is designed to be a forever Modern Heirloom, to be carried on all your adventures, and passed from generation to generation.

Your Alighieri order will be packed by hand, with love, and dispatched within 1-2 working days (unless it is personalised or made to order).

We are pleased to cover all taxes and duties on orders going to the EU and the United States. Regrettably, we are unable to cover taxes and duties for orders outside of these regions, and these will be your responsibility to pay.
